Growing up is full of struggles. As a parent you may be noticing your child struggling with big feelings, with the many challenges school brings, or with a change in family life. All of these struggles are completely normal and can have a major impact on your child’s behavior and wellbeing.
We all need help when we are struggling, and the earlier we get that help the better. You don’t need to wait until things blow up or become unmanageable. Seeking out extra support is a great way to support your child before you even notice any issues. We all need and deserve support in life. At All IN, we tailor the therapy we offer for kids in an honest, playful way that best suits their needs while also making sure parents feel seen and supported every step of the way. Therapy isn’t just for hard times, it is for building stronger futures.

We offer a variety of support and solutions for the whole family. Our approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for children, teens and parents, tailored to different developmental stages and challenges. CBT provides children with tools to reframe unhelpful thoughts, regulate emotions, and build coping skills they can use in school, at home, and in social settings.
Parental coaching is an essential part of this process. We work directly with caregivers to strengthen parenting strategies, reduce conflict, and encourage positive communication patterns within the household. We also collaborate closely with teachers and schools to ensure a consistent support system across all environments, maximizing the chances for success at home and in the classroom.

We provide compassionate grief counseling and support during times of loss or major family changes, helping children and families heal together. Whether a child is adjusting to divorce, the death of a loved one, or a move to a new community, these experiences can feel overwhelming and unfamiliar. Our therapists create a safe space for children to process emotions, ask questions, and feel understood.
In addition to grief counseling, we focus on strengthening confidence, resilience, and self-esteem in children of all ages. By teaching kids how to express themselves, manage big emotions, and trust in their own abilities, we help families move forward with a stronger foundation. Parents are also given practical tools to reinforce these skills at home, making therapy an empowering experience for the entire family.

This can be such a hard decision to make all on your own, luckily, we are here for you and your child, their feelings matter to us at ALL IN. Here are some behaviors that may signal that your child would benefit from therapy designed for kids, therapy that is safe, playful, and real:

We offer many flexible options to fit any family’s needs. We have in-person sessions available at our Golden Valley and Edina locations. We also offer secure virtual sessions if that is a better fit. We use an ongoing mix of modalities to help build skills and address each child’s and family’s individual needs. We provide affirming care for all backgrounds and identities! We do a lot more than just listen at ALL IN, we really strive to support the entire family system. We’ll partner with you and your child’s school to help build success.
First sessions involve conversations with parents along with a gentle introduction for the child. This care continues with regular parent updates and tools for home to help provide continued support outside of the therapy office. Just remember that you are not alone, your child’s feelings matter here.
We work hard to earn trust from our clients. We have decades of combined child therapy in Edina or Golden Valley that uses real-talk and actionable strategies.
