We were asking Chris what his therapy vibe was, and this is how he described it:
“Look, I can really go deep with people. I help them really figure out themselves, or fully grieve and get past something holding them back. I can also get really analytical to best understand something. But, I’m also hardcore nerdy and love building an authentic, lighthearted relationship with clients. I love to talk video games, the MN Twins, comedy, and anything alternative. So, I dig it all.”
Working with Chris is a real experience. He’s motivating, insightful, honest, and funny. He’s also experienced, and it shows in what his clients come away with.
He also has a TON of experience. He’s been in the field for over 7 years. There is likely nothing you are going to throw at him that he hasn’t worked with before.
While he works with adults, he also is very gifted with working with teens and adults. His approach with working with younger clients is both unique and effective. Kids just seem to click with him big time. He is particularly good with kids and teens with OCD, Autism, and ADHD. So, for parents looking for a provider with those specialties, he is an incredible find.
Chris is also trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) which is a cutting-edge treatment for people with a wide variety of mental health challenges. It is particularly helpful for people who have experienced traumatic events and are still affected by them. Trauma does not have to stay with you forever, and EMDR can be a useful tool in placing the past be in the past.
We see everyday the work that Chris does and the impact he has on the lives of his clients. We are super proud to have him as a colleague.
