Deciding whether or not to bring Myeida on the team was a no-brainer for three reasons: her brain, her heart, and her passion.
First, she is incredibly smart and knowledgeable. She brings an incredible wealth of knowledge, trainings, and certifications. She is trained in some cutting-edge clinical approaches, and is one of those therapists that other therapists go to to ask for ideas. When clients have Myeida as their therapist, they are working with a world-class therapist who can figure out most anything she puts her mind to.
Second, she has an incredibly positive, bubbly, sparkly, uplifting energy. She is certainly not a dull therapist. Instead, she lights up when she sees her clients in the waiting room (and they light up back at her). She is very motivating and a colorful spirit in a sometimes-gray world.
Lastly, her passion. Some people are good therapists because they could do just about anything well. Others are born to be therapists and are gifted in ways that are almost natural. Myeida was born for this work. In the way she brings her full self and passion to this craft, you will not find another therapist more passionate and committed to helping her clients make change happen.
One of her specialties is working with people with Neurodiversity (ADHD, Autism, or people somewhere on the spectrum). She is such an asset for people who want to learn how to work with their own brain, even when it is a little scattered or wild at times.
Though she works with adults, she has a particular specialty with teens and kids. We think it is because they can just immediately sense that she is friendly, fun, and can approach them on their level. They even will give her nicknames like their “Calm Down Lady” or “Feelings Coach“. What she can do with kids and teens is magic.
She has just moved to our clinic and is going to be one of those therapists that once she is full, she is full. Client’s won’t want to give up their spot. So, we really suggest that, if she feels like someone you want to work with, act now. Not to pressure you, but therapists like her are in demand.
