Mental Health Practitioner

David Christensen-Finck, MA

Therapist for Individuals & Couples

Can you describe a therapist as “kick-a$$”? I’m not even sure. If you can, that’s how we’d describe him. He’s smart, funny, and really digs in. If you got something you need figured out, he’s definitely someone you want on your team.

David is located at our ALL IN-Edina location.

David Christensen-Finck

David genuinely wants you to be happy, and will do what he can to make sure you are. He thrives on understanding. Thus, clients that work with him will certainly be understood for who they are, what they need, and what is holding them back.

I want nothing more than to support people who have decided to face their fears instead of run from them, to embrace themselves instead of hide from themselves, to love their lives instead of merely manage them.

David is also certified in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is one of the best ways to help clients let go of their past and move forward.

Don’t be shy to hit David with the real tough stuff, the serious topics that weigh heavy on your mind. David has a particular knack for working with issues like Grief & Loss, Meaning of Life and Life Transitions, Spiritual Crises and Spiritual Abuse. Also, he especially enjoys working with Creatives, people with ADHD/Neurodiversity, and people that experience the “dark-side” of being gifted and talented.

David is certainly one to get right into the thick of it with you and walk along side until you have arrived where you want to be.

David practices with a blend of EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, personal experience, and good-ol’-fashioned Smartness.
